Red Route

Red Route: the wild soul of the Presolana

rilievo-verde.svg

A single itinerary, two modes: choose the variant best suited to your pace

The Presolana Trekking is developed on a single ring, but offers two ways to travel it: the Green Route, structured in 5 stages accessible to all hikers, and the Red Route, a variant designed for those who are more trained and accustomed to technical sections.

The route is the same, but in two of the five stages there are more direct and challenging variants, which shorten the itinerary to 3 stages in total. These variants include more exposed passages, sections on ridges and more marked differences in altitude, ideal for those seeking a more physical and concentrated mountain experience.

The Red Route crosses high-altitude environments and less frequented territories, always keeping the Presolana as a visual reference point. Along the way you will encounter refuges, panoramic passes and symbolic places such as the Grotta dei Pagani, in a varied and evocative natural context.

This technical variant allows you to complete the same Presolana Trekking ring in three days instead of five, using two alternative, more direct and challenging sections.

A proposal designed for trained hikers who want to experience the mountains more intensely, without sacrificing the completeness of the route.
